The Government of Alberta has completed a months-long investigation into the city council of Chestermere following complaints from city staff, residents, and some council members. The investigation was conducted by George Cuff, a municipal adviser and consultant, and the findings have been submitted to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs for review. The report will be presented to council in a closed session before being made public, and the minister may make recommendations or orders to fix any issues found during the investigation.
