Former City of Chestermere communications manager testified about an incident involving Kim Wallace, the senior official and director of corporate services. The witness recounted how Wallace entered the room and started berating her and others, screaming in an alarming manner. According to the testimony, Wallace forcefully poked the witness’s shoulder with two fingers before retreating to her office. About ten minutes later, Wallace returned and allegedly swatted the witness across the shoulder, instructing her to enter her office. The witness expressed fear and discomfort during the encounter. In contrast, Kim Wallace denied the allegations and stated that she had never touched anyone physically in her life. The trial continues, with the possibility of rebuttal evidence being presented to challenge Wallace’s character.
